According to the Court Records social and economic structure in Bursa between the years of 1693-1699

In this thesis study, the social and economic life in Bursa was investigated in the last quarter of the 17 th century (1693-1699), based on the Bursa Şeriyye records (court records ) of B153. The main source of the dissertation is the registers of heritage in the Bursa Şeriyye records of B153. Terek / terike is the court register where all the goods, the claims and the debts left after the person's death. The thesis consists of introduction, five chapters and a result section. In the introduction section, thesis study was introduced, and Ottoman heritage law and the book of heritage (book of Tereke) was dwelt on. In the first part of the thesis, Bursa Şeriyye (court) records and B153 Bursa Şeriyye Registry Book were examined. In the second part, we have focused on the owners of Tereke (heritage). The social and economic characteristics of the Tereke owners were discussed. In the third part, the groups of movable and immovable goods forming the Tereke were examined. In the fourth chapter, the sharing of the Tereke (heritages) and the heirs were evaluated. In the fifth chapter, the taxes and other expenditure items from the heriteges were evaluated. In the conclusion part, with the information and obtained findings a general evaluation was made.
