Abstract (EN)
The basic structural element of Alevism-Bektashism is the belief of God-Muhammad-Ali. The peculiar nature of this belief makes its understanding problematic. For this reason, many domestic and foreign researchers claim that the trinity doctrine of Christianity lies at the root of this belief. However, when the historical process and the factors affecting the formation of this belief are examined as a whole, it will be noticed that this is not the case. The aim of this study is to reveal the adventure of the emergence of the belief of God-Muhammad-Ali and to show that this belief is not a copy of the trinity belief of Christianity by comparing it with the doctrine of the trinity. The method of this study is to examine and analyze various sources written about the history and belief of Alevism-Bektashism in the literature. The results of this analysis are as follows; The lives of the Turkmens and their pre-Islamic beliefs were influential in the formation of Alevism-Bektashism. These communities, which have just converted to Islam, have built the belief of God-Muhammad-Ali on the legacy of their old beliefs. In this respect, it can be said that God-Muhammad-Ali belief is not a copy of the trinity doctrine of Christianity, on the contrary, Alevism-Bektashism is formed by its own internal dynamics. Secondly, it is seen that the belief of God-Muhammad-Ali, which is highly influenced by the doctrine of unity of existence, also emphasizes the creed of tawhid. In this respect, it is seen that there is a difference between the trinity and the trinity. These findings, on the other hand, will serve as a pillar against those who want to evaluate Alevism-Bektashism by detaching it from its essence and will provide a more accurate understanding of Alevism-Bektashism.
