Abstract (EN)
The topic of talent management (TM) continues to receive a high level of attention in today's world. Organizations have obliged to conduct and strengthen effective TM practices. This study is based on four main parts of TM: employee recruitment and selection, training and development, performance management, and career management. Organizational culture and TM are inseparable. This study analyzes the association between the adaptability trait of organizational culture (ATOC) and TM. ATOC covers creating change and organizational learning. Employee engagement (EE), trust (T), and intention to leave (IL) are taken as dependent variables. This study also analyzes the mediation effect of TM on the relationship between ATOC and employee outcomes. Besides, a new scale to measure TM was developed and used for this study. Firstly, a pilot study was conducted on a sample of 134, and 751 telecommunication employees participated to the survey. As a result, this study found a statistically significant relationship between ATOC and TM factors. Findings of this study also indicated a positive relationship between TM factors and trust. There were significant relationships between TM and EE factors. There were negative and significant associations between TM factors and IL. It was observed that TM partially mediated the relationship between ATOC and EE, T, IL. The results also indicated that there were significant differences between some demographic and dependent variables. This study aims to provide a valuable contribution to the existing literature by developing a new scale of TM and conducting an empirical study on the researched key concepts.
