Abstract (EN)
As in the whole world, nursing is affected by computer technology and the traditional education structure is transforming. Virtual reality technology, which is one of the important technologies of today, is one of the most important representatives of this effect. This technology has started to be used quite a lot in the field of health as in almost every field, especially in medical education. The aim of this study is to provide nurses with the Human Anatomy VR application in Playstation VR technology; Experiencing virtual reality technology related to anatomy model and examining its effects in the context of these experiences. For this purpose, 50 nurses who were randomly selected, working in the surgical units of a research hospital in Istanbul, participated in the research. %60 of the participants are female, %40 are male; 60% are between the ages of 23-28 and %40 are between the ages of 29-35. However, all of the participants are undergraduate graduates. The data of the research were collected using the Socio-demographic Information Form, the Information Form on the Use of Virtual Reality Technology (Pre-Assessment Form and the Post-Assessment Form), the Simulator Disease Questionnaire and the Motion Sickness Questionnaire, the Voluntary Information and Consent Form, and virtual reality glasses. First of all, the participants were asked to fill in the preliminary evaluation form, some basic anatomy elements were experienced with the virtual reality application, and then their experiences were asked by filling out the final evaluation form. In this context, nurses were asked to fill out a "Simulator Disease and Motion Sickness" questionnaire to examine their psychophysiological effects. As a result, the information obtained from the preliminary evaluation form, the final evaluation form and the questionnaire were tabulated and classified in the research section. In the evaluation of the data, mean, standard deviation, percentage and number values are given. In addition, descriptive analysis method was used in the evaluation of qualitative data. In the context of important findings, %84 (4.82±0.37) of the nurses stated that "I found the information provided by Anatomy VR application about muscles and organs sufficient." step; %94 (4.86±0.46) answered positively to the step "Anatomy VR application can be used in the field of health". According to the results obtained, the experiences of the nurses using virtual reality technology related to the anatomy model are positive. In the context of the results of the research, it is recommended to include the use of virtual reality technology in the skill training of nurses.
