Abstract (EN)

The present study was performed to reveal the yield, some quality characteristics, and resistance against some pests and diseases of 20 beef type tomato lines and to determine some morphological characteristics of these lines. As a result of the observations and evaluations made according to the UPOV criteria; It was determined that anthocyanine formation occurred in the hypocotyl in all lines and the plant growth type was indeterminate. In the study, it was determined that the fruit maturity color was red and there was no green shoulder formation before fruit ripening in all lines except the Bd 24 line. Although a Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus resistant line could not be detected in the study; 5 tomato lines (Bd 3, Bd 9, Bd 11, Bd 16, and Bd 24) were found to be resistant to the Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. radicis-lycopersici agent. As a result of the study, the total yield, average fruit weight, fruit width, fruit length, water-soluble dry matter content, ascorbic acid content, lycopene, ß-Carotene and total phenolic substance contents of tomato lines were determined between 6.60- 14.93 tons/da, 200.80-384.00 g, 71.95- 98.29 mm, 53.68-75.05 mm, 6.10-9.60%, 20.03-25.57 mg/100 g, 4.69-9.68 mg/100 g, 0.83-2.17 mg/100 g and 13.28-30.72 mg/100 g, respectively.
