Abstract (EN)
This research has been done for the purpose of examining the correlation between the mathematics success and the mathematics class attitudes with the reflective thinking skills oriented to solving problem of the students educated in Science and Art Centres. The research has been carried out totaly 140 7. grade secondary school students in 7 different city who are educated in Science and Art Centers. In the research as the measuring tool; the scale of "Reflective Thinking Skills Oriented to Solving Problem", the scale of "Mathematics Attitude" and "Personal Information Form" reformed by researcher have been used. In the analysis of the datas, descriptive statistics, independent groups test, one way anova test, pearson moments correlation have been used. The results obtained from the search findings can be summarized as below: 1. The reflective thinking abilities aimed at problem solving, type of school where they take formal education, gender, economic situation, educational background of the mother and the father of the 7th grade students having education at science and art centres. 2. Mathematics attitude of the 7th grade students having education in science and art centres differ according to the type of school where they take education, gender, economic situation and the educational background of the mother and the father. 3. It shows up that there is a statistically significant relationship between the vii general average of reflective thinking aimed at problem solving and the attitude of the 7th grade students to mathemetics lesson. Accordingly, the more attitude to mathematics increase, reflective thinking aiming ot problem solving also increases as general.
