Abstract (EN)

The financial crisis of 2007-2008, which we faced, represented one of the worst crises that the world has known since 1929. Triggered in 2008 by what we all know as the subprime crisis, the latter has spread to the whole world thanks to a domino effect reinforced by the globalization of finance and the opening up of financial markets. Nevertheless, despite the relentless efforts of states to cope with this crisis and save the world from a collapse, the situation has not been saved to date, which has put the spotlight on one of the most the effectiveness of the capitalist system. Indeed, this situation that we experienced has highlighted the failure of the financial system and its foundations, forcing many researchers to ask questions about what could make the situation and save an economy from collapse. As a solution to this crisis, several analysts have seen in Islamic finance a solution to this crisis, by its different principles that do not advocate the current practices of modern finance namely speculation and the application of interest. Thanks to this, its growth is estimated to be twice as fast as that of conventional finance. To this end, and in order to understand to what extent Islamic finance can be a solution to this crisis, we will first try to present the fundamentals of Islamic finance and then try to see if this system can be an alternative solution to the current system and a solution to crisis. Finally we conclude this research with an empirical study including Moroccans who contracted a loan of not, to analyze measure the perception of Moroccans related to this system concerning the offer of alternative products in Morocco.
