Abstract (EN)
The subject of this study is to determine the effect of the professional satisfaction levels of the religious officials working within the Directorate of Religious Affairs on their job motivation. The aim of the study was to analyze the differences in the levels of influence on the motivation of religious officials by examining their professional satisfaction levels by independent variables. The population of the study consisted of the employees of the Directorate of Religious Affairs, the sampling frame is religious officials working in Ankara, and the sample group consisted of 608 participants who were included in the study with a simple random sampling method, and also 55 people who added depth to the research with interviews. For the collection of the survey data, the data were collected using the professional satisfaction, job motivation scale, and structured questions about professional satisfaction and job motivation. The relational screening model, which aims to determine the existence of co-change between two or more variables, was used in parallel with the explanatory paradigm. As a result of the research, it was found that professional satisfaction did not differ significantly according to gender, marital status, monthly income, time spent in the profession, but as the age level increased, professional satisfaction also increased. In addition, it was found that the professional satisfaction levels of religious officials with an associate degree in theology were higher than those in other graduate groups and differed significantly. It was found that the job motivation of religious officials did not differ significantly according to marital status, monthly income, time spent in the profession, and that there was a significant difference according to gender and age. Accordingly, it was determined that the job motivation levels of female religious officials were higher than those of men and that as the age level increased, the level of job motivation increased. As a result, it was found that there was a positive and significant relationship between professional satisfaction and job motivation. It was determined that the professional satisfaction of the Imam Hatip, Quran course instructors and the muezzin trustees had a positive effect on the job motivation, and as the professional satisfaction of the employees increased, their job motivation increased as well.
