The transcription and evaluation of the book of Mir'atü'l-İber of Said Pasha from Diyarbekir

Said Pasha from Diyarbakır, who stands out as a statesman, is also an enlightened personality who brought the works he wrote in different fields into our lives in literature. However, Said Pasha's literary aspect was clarified with articles and thesis studies. Although he has a historical corpus of 10 volumes, 9 of which are printed and 1 is handwritten, this aspect of Said Pasha has not been adequately clarified. We aimed to contribute to the clarification of Said Pasha's historiography by transcribing and evaluating of the 9th volume the general history work Mir'âtü'l-İber, which discusses the geographies of Iran, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Turkistan. İn order to fully understand this aspect of the work and Said Pasha, It is necessary to evaluate the work as a whole after all the volumes are transcribed. The thesis consists of three parts. In the first part, Said Pasha's life and works were explained. In the second part, a transcript of volume 9 of Mir'âtü'l-İber, in the third part the evaluation of this work was made.
