Abstract (EN)

Time management is a crucial issue in terms of operating efficiency, savings and profitability for a company. It is the only thing that can not be recovered. Today, competition among businesses is in an advanced dimension. With the change of the methods used in the management activities and realization of globalization effective use of time is one of the most important divergences in terms of businesses. Effective time management is an important factor when businesses come to running ahead of other competitors. In this research, the effect of time management in Private Siirt Hayat Hospital is examined. The research is carried out in this hospital universe. The first part of the questionnaire contains a personal information form. In the second part, the effect of time is examined in terms of differences in organizational and institutional time on operational efficiency. In our study, developed "Time Perception Scale" in Demir (2016) was used. The reliability value of this scale developed by Iron (2016) was analyzed as 0.78. In this study, the reliability of the research is calculated as 0,855 and there is no significant difference according to gender, age and term of employment, but significant differences are found according to education level and income levels. As a result of the factor analysis carried out in this study, seven sub dimensions were obtained. The level of "awareness of time value" is very high, the level of "adverse effect of unplanned work" is medium, the level of "negative effect of job description and ambiguous targets" is very low, "Time loss originating from colleagues" is high and the level of "disregard for attitude" is low. The level of "the impact of unplanned human resources" is high and the level of "knowing the priorities according to time-consuming elements" is high.
