Özet (EN)

This research was established to investigate the effects of black cumin extract content added to broiler drinking water, dissolved in water and produced in stabilized form, on performance and some carcass parameters. The experiment was set up in a total of 8 compartments containing 12 chicks in each compartment. The experiment was formed between two groups, in which black cumin extract was given to drinking water in four compartments and normal groundwater was given in the other four compartments. A total of 96 Ross 308 broiler chickens were used. The daily feed and water consumption of the chicks in the pens were determined as a group and recorded. At the end of the 6th week, the animals were slaughtered after their body weight was taken from the house. After the blood flow of the slaughtered animals was completed, the head, internal organs and skin were separated from their carcasses and their carcass weights, and then the heart and gizzard weights were measured and recorded. After the weight determination, the left thigh, left breast and right thigh, right breast, were measured and recorded with a digital pH meter (WTW 3110, Germany) after slaughtering the hot and the next day (24 hours later) cold pH values. At the end of all these measurements and evaluations, it was concluded that the addition of black cumin extract to drinking water did not cause significant changes in the performance and some carcass parameters of animals that were not under stress conditions and fed with high ration quality feeds.
