Abstract (EN)

Sport is both an activity which is based on rivalry and an entertainment tool whose limits are determined within universal principles and rules. It also encourages people to love, peace and rivalry. However; due to the fact that Sport includes rivalry and ambition itself, it may cause some unwelcome violence in some occasions. These acts of violence may reach at upper levels which could even result in death from a very simple defamation to deliberately injuring. Undoubtedly; One of the branches which violence is very prevalent is football. Violence at football has been observed in our country like many other countries. Therefore; there has been a need for some sort of precautions in order to hinder violence at football as with all over the world. These measures contain many dimensions such as education, media, electronic ticket, installing fences between the fans of teams and legal regulations. However; both of these legal regulations and other measures at different aspects may not prevent violence at sport all the time. In this study, It is aimed to determine the source of acts of violence via investigating the acts of violence in Adana in terms of quality and quantity and to become an opportunity to hinder these acts. The study has been conducted over the individuals who are under investigation due to acts of violence at courthouse in Adana in 2016. Within the context of study, 463 cases have been investigated. The findings have shown that acts of violence in Adana mainly actualized by violating the Article 6222 related to Violence at Sport and Prevention of disorder which contains "The individual who is banned from seeing the match does not consult law enforcers stated in article" and "Entering into sports centers to see the matches without tickets" . Processing to courts including articles investigated within the study has been given in accordance with these articles. It has been observed that there was no operation in Adana in 2016 about the inspected articles which are " The inspected articles which are: "Bringing weapons which are prohibited to use into sports areas(13/1) Bringing drugs or drug related chemicals or alcoholic beverages(13/6), entering into sports areas despite the fact that he or she is prohibited to enter or he does not have ticket (15/1.f.2.c)
