Abstract (EN)

In addition to fossil fuels, the share of renewable energy sources is increasing rapidly at the point of meeting the increasing energy demand in the world. Awareness of the use of clean electricity generation systems has increased due to reasons such as the negative effects of fossil fuels on the environment and the fact that they will decrease and run out in the near future. Our country is in a very good position in terms of solar energy potential compared to many countries. Increasing awareness on this issue and the fact that renewable energy investments are within the scope of government supports provided an advantage for investments made in this field. Photovoltaic (FV) systems are mostly used for electricity generation from solar energy, which is one of the renewable energy sources. Simulation programs are frequently used to reach the outputs of photovoltaic systems. Thanks to the programs and contents that develop day by day, feasibility reports of the facilities can be obtained and the final result can be reached with different system designs. In this study, the current solar power plant production data in Çiğdemlik Village of Amasya province was compared with the data obtained in PVSOL, PVSYST, PVGIS and PVWATTS simulation programs, and the program results were also compared among themselves. The closest result to the actual production value was obtained with the PVSOL program. The farthest result was obtained with the PVSYST program. Photovoltaic simulation programs are thought to be the infrastructure for further studies with decreasing error rates over time.
