Abstract (EN)

Leadership is an important asset for organizations.Ethical leadership began to be considered as a separate leadership style while previously it has been considered as a part of other leadership styles (Kanungo, 2001). Responsibility, respect others, authenticity, presence, empathy, tone, trust, fairness and justice, power sharing, temperance, fortitude, prudence, serve others, role modeling, convey standars about ethical conduct, transperancy, people oriented can be listed as principles of ethical leadership. If leaders create an ethical climate, employees feel safe to report ethical problems to management. A positive correlation between ethical leadership and perceived business ethical work climate has been found (Neubert ,2009).Burnout is a syndrome that develops in response to problematic relationships between employees and their workplaces. Employees who perceive their immediate supervisors as displaying ethical leadership behavior will likely report higher levels of work engagement and lower levels of burnout.Intention to quit has been defined as the conscious and deliberate willingness to leave an organization (Tett & Meyer, 1993).A positive correlation has been found between leader trustworthiness and the intention of employees to stay in their organization (Ko and Hur,2004).
