Özet (EN)

Today, the challenges are rapidly increasing with the use of the Internet and the extension used by the banks. The study added to the body of knowledge in the technology acceptance domain by testing and validating the use of technology for instance ATMs which is available in private banks but not in public. Internet banking in Erbil has developed rapidly since the year 2015 as most of the Erbil private banks have adopted some form of Internet usage and launched websites to serve their customers. Information technology (IT) has become very important for all activities of organizations especially in the service of banking. In Erbil, there are two types of banks namely: public banks and private banks. Public banks are financed by the government through a budget and the majority of functions are carried out by them. Whereas the private banks are financed by the private sector itself where the majority is held by shareholders of the bank which control and management are in the hand of them. Both types of banks offer the same services. But one can see the difference between interest rates. The proposed model of this study supported the influence of performance expectancy, social influence, self-efficacy, perceived trust, and locus of control on people's intention to use Internet banking. Part of these relationships was moderated by gender, age, education, and experience.
