Abstract (EN)

The research was carried out in order to have information about the quality of life of patients who had myocardial infarction (MI), considering the MacNew Heart Disease Health-Related Quality of Life (MacNew) scale, one of the quality of life scales. A questionnaire containing sociodemographic information and the MacNew Scale were used as data collection tools in the study. SPSS version 26 was used to evaluate the data. The Macnew scale mean was found to be 93.5797±11.10390. Frequency distribution tables were created and evaluated for each question of the MacNew Scale. A significant inverse relationship was found between MacNew scale level and age (p<0.05). MacNew scale: Marital status, occupation, employment status, number of hospitalizations due to coronary artery disease, physical activity/exercise, physical activity/exercise frequency, physical activity/exercise duration, whether to diet, adherence to diet program, adherence to medication, last 2 It varies according to the state of being happy, satisfied and satisfied with private life during the week, shortness of breath while doing daily physical activity during the last 2 weeks, and limits while exercising and doing sports as a result of your heart problems during the last 2 weeks (p<0.05). ; It does not differ according to gender, education, income, place of life, hospitalization due to heart disease, smoking and alcohol use (p>0.05). The research reliability was found to be 79.5%. It is recommended that more studies be conducted on the subject.
