Abstract (EN)

In today's capitalist order, planning life, obtaining preferences and making the desired intervention in this process whenever necessary can be made possible with "money". Efforts to obtain, protect and further increase money require sound financial management. The success of the said financial management is directly proportional and in a strong relationship with the concept of financial literacy. At this point, the adaptation of some financial instruments adopted by the global economy and prohibited by the religion of Islam to the religion of Islam in such a way that the financial decisions on this issue do not contradict the beliefs and values required by the religion, revealed the concept of Islamic finance and the importance of this concept. Understanding the concept of Islamic finance and applying it to financial decisions with the awareness of its compatibility with daily life and Islamic values will be possible by developing the level of Islamic financial literacy. In this study, the level of Islamic financial literacy, which has gained importance on a national and international scale, and how well-known Islamic financial products are, were measured within the scope of Tax Inspectors, one of the economic actors. The questionnaire we prepared with "Google Forms" was sent to 289 Tax Inspectors working in Turkey. The data obtained from the results of this survey study were also analyzed with SPSS. As a result of the analysis, it has been seen that the level of knowledge about Islamic finance products can differ significantly according to gender, education level and title. According to demographic variables, the products that show the highest difference are Musharakah and Mudarebe; It was observed that the level of knowledge of Sukuk, Riba and Murabaha products did not differ according to any demographic variables. In addition, it was observed that the level of knowledge did not differ according to the work region variable. As a result, it has been determined that the Islamic financial literacy level of tax inspectors is low.
