Abstract (EN)
Mobbing, has become a popular issue in every sector (private sector, education, health, public, etc.) in recent years in business life. Mobbing includes a multifaceted disturbing behavior that produces social, psychological and economic negative outcomes that are common in working life. People who are mobbing victim their work in an atmosphere where they are not psychologically happy. Mobbing lowers employee concentrations and threatens the health of employees. Moreover, lack of communication and collectively negative behavior in the working environment also negatively affects work performance over time. Mobbing is one of the national issues, to care about the phenomenon of mobbing, identifying its causes and taking measures that leave significant damage on a personal and social level. In this thesis, it is aimed to examine the effects of mobbing on employees. The research was conducted with qualitative research method. The data were obtained using the interview technique. 26 employees who were exposed to mobbing in a part of their working life were included in the study group of the study. Descriptive analysis technique was used while analyzing the data. The data is streamlined in accordance with previously created themes and then processed into tables to fit the thematic framework. Thanks to the tables, the categories have been made clearer and easier to compare and interpret between the categories. The data clearly revealed that mobbing is a common phenomenon in business life, negatively affecting individual, family and social relationships, as well as negatively affecting body and mental health, resulting in losses in work efficiency.
