This study deals with the verses of comparison in the Holy Qur'an in collection، analysis and study. It is a method: "Things are known by their opposites" through the vivid images presented by the Qur'an of the relationship between two contradictory models، or between two opposing positions، one of which stands in the face of the other. The purpose of the Qur'an in this method is to show through it the authenticity of the positive in exchange for the falsity of the negative، to adhere to the first and leave the second، and the comparison falls within the context of comparative research by presenting a positive human model alongside another negative one، so that the mental comparison takes place to diagnose the value. This study addresses the lack of contemporary studies on this type of classification in the Qur'an، and aims to fill this gap in the Islamic Qur'anic library. The researcher relied on the comparative، analytical inductive approach، which is based on collecting scientific material and extrapolating comparison verses in the Holy Qur'an and studying and analyzing what is related to them in the books of interpretations، the sciences of the Qur'an، linguistic books and other relevant sources، and deducing the benefits and foundations of making these comparisons. the most important findings of this study were as follows: The method of comparison in the Qur'an is primarily educational and can be used in the field of guidance، rehabilitation، personality building، and consideration of ideal life models. Also، the comparisons in the Qur'an came for several purposes، including: clarifying the virtues and disadvantages of actions in the field of education and morals، as well as showing the principle of differentiation between the messengers and the prophets. With wisdom and good advice، and making these stories a means of influence، guidance and education for generations; Because of its lessons and implications. Also، these stories are not works of art in their subject matter and the way they are presented، as is the case with ordinary stories، but rather a Quranic means that guarantees human happiness in both worlds. It also benefits from the necessity for the reader to learn the gradual use of arguments and proofs in confronting the opponent in order to defeat him، verbal improvements، such as inlaying، and moral improvements، such as counterpoint، also appeared in the method of Quranic comparisons which served the rhetorical miracle in these verses.
