Abstract (EN)
Globalization has caused changes in the importance of actors in international relations. The new theme of the new world order is global competition. With the effect of globalization and technological developments, changes occur in competition both in the national and international arena. The importance of factors such as gaining advantage in global competition, differentiation and offering the most attractive conditions for investors has increased and establishing such elements has been perceived as a necessity for countries. The main purpose of countries all over the world is to maintain the development of the country by having a competitive identity and to protect the existing order and welfare of the people without harming the changes. Based on this idea, there is a consensus that competitiveness is multi-dimensional and that many factors affect the competitiveness of countries and businesses. In this study, the data of the Global Competitiveness Index (WEF) 2019 published annually were used and Turkey and the countries of Eurasia (Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Moldova and Kyrgyzstan) multicriteria decision-making methods in competitiveness through Promethean, one of the criteria that have been identified and by making a detailed comparison between these criteria, the best alternatives ranking was obtained.
