Abstract (EN)

As a result of intense competition, fragmented and demanding markets and diverse and rapidly changing technologies, innovation is becoming more and more relevant in today?s global and dynamic competitive environment. In order to exist in a market on long term companies have to understand and adapt themselves to innovation. But innovation is a time, investment and qualified labour consuming process. And more than 8 out of 10 innovations face failure in the marketpalace. Hence companies have to understand the factors affecting the acceptance of innovations. This study introduces a conceptual model of consumer innovation acceptance of mobile services and reports key findings from a field study employed with 1100 Turkish consumers. Results provide an understanding of how and why specific factors affect the consumer decisions whether or not to use mobile services.
