This research was conducted to examine the moderating role of education level in the effect of motivation levels of employees in luxury restaurant businesses in Istanbul on the perception of organizational sabotage. In the research, the motivation level of employees is divided into intrinsic and extrinsic motivation; the perception of organizational sabotage is discussed as information sabotage, violent sabotage and task sabotage. The survey method, one of the data collection techniques, was used in the research. Surveys were administered to a total of 388 employees. The data obtained as a result of the application was analyzed with SPSS 26 package program and Process Makro software. In the results obtained, it was determined that the motivation levels of male and married participants were higher than other groups. However, female employees' perception of information sabotage is higher than that of men; It has been determined that married employees' perception of task sabotage is higher than single employees. The study also found that there is a negative relationship between the motivation level of employees and the perception of organizational sabotage. It has been concluded that especially in cases where intrinsic motivation is high, employees' perception of organizational sabotage is lower. Finally, it was concluded that the level of education has a moderating role in the effect of motivation on organizational sabotage. It has been observed that motivation tends to reduce organizational sabotage more in those with higher education levels.
