Mustafa Fevzi̇ bi̇n Numan's mirajnama

After Turkish people embraced Islam, there have been many changes in social, political and cultural life reflecting through the field of litarature. Life of Hz Mohammed which is most basic subject in İslam was treated on poetical and prosaic manuscripts. Miraj has an important place between this literal works. The literal work being subjected in our study is part of Risâle-i Mir'âtü'ş-Şühûd fî Mes'eleti Vahdeti'l-Vücûd which was written by sufi poet Mustafa Fevzî bin Numan. The work is also example of Miraj. In our work, we first talked about our author's life, his literary personality and his works, After that, we have analyzed in terms of language style and genre features. We made reference to "Seyr u Sülûk". We transcribed the text into the Latin alphabet. We have determined which patterns involved in the couplets. We talked about the place of our work on literary history. Finally, we added the original text hopping that it would be easier to read the thesis. The purpose of this study is to signify the place of this literary work in our literature history and to bring Mustafa Fevzi's name and his work into light to which has not been given credit of its worth.
