Abstract (EN)

This is a qualitative study aimed at examining and evaluating the story books of children's literature writer Necati Güngör, as well as the fundamental principles of children's literature and children's education. Literature scanning model is used in the study. The stories Güngör wrote for children are examples of the study (Babam Şimdi Çok Uzaklarda, Hikâyemde Hayvan Var, Anne Bana Köpek Al, Anneme Bir Ev Alacağım, Ay Işığında Ceviz Yiyen Ayı, Babamın Sedefli Çakısı, Bir Hikâye Yaz İçinde İnsan Olsun, Dağlarda Yalnız Bir Köpek, Hayatımın Yedi Hikâyesi, İnsanlığın Sonbaharında, İyiler Genç Ölür, Masal Kuşu, Papatya Gelin, Sessiz Yürek, Sevgili Öğretmenim, Sinema Kuşu Sevgilim, Hayvanların Sır Dolu Dünyası, Sevgi Ekmektir). The research data were obtained through the source scanning method. The appointed books of the author are provided with the publishing house. During the analysis and evaluation of the data, Necati Güngör's children's books were scanned throughout. In the scope of the research, a general framework on children's literature and children's education was drawn and Necati Güngör's life, art, works and place and importance in children's literature are revealed. Then the external structure characteristics of the author's stories and educational values for children were examined and an suggestions were made as a result of the findings.
