Hemşirelerin Kerkük kentinde korona virüs aşısına yönelik görüşleri

Background: Vaccines are the only way to stop the virus from spreading, no matter how hard people try to stop it. Some people, on the other hand, are very against being vaccinated. Those who are afraid of getting a vaccine can put off or not get the COVID19 vaccine. Objective: This study aims to assess nurses opinion toward coronavirus vaccine at the Kirkuk city. It also attempts to find out the association between nurse opinions on coronavirus vaccines and their demographic characteristics. Methods: Descriptive cross-sectional study design was carried out in Kirkuk, Iraq, from November 2021 to April 2022. The study was conducted using a non-probability (purposive) sample of 200 nurses out of 850 nurses working in Kirkuk General Hospital. The items included in the questionnaire numbered 22. The average time for data collection was 20 minutes. The analysis of data was completed in the study with SPSS version 22. Results: The socio-demographic characteristics of the entire study sample are shown. The result shows nursing staff opinion on coronavirus vaccine and a high significance and moderate significance. There were significant differences between nursing staff opinion on coronavirus vaccine. Conclusion: Only a few nurses have a bad attitude about the coronavirus vaccine. The majority of nurses have a good attitude about the vaccine. Key Words: Nurses opinion, Coronavirus, Vaccine, Kirkuk city.
