Opinions of principals and teacher related to school safety in primary school (Uşak case)

This study has been set in order to find the difference between level of opinions and expextations of the school principals and teachers who work in primary schools about school safety according to same demographical features. The survey was taken with the participations of 390 teachers and 80 principals who work in schools which were in center of Uşak and located in 3 different socio-economic structural educational zones with 5 countries center. The datas of study are gathered with "The School Safety Schale and Information Form" which is developed by Demirtaş (2007). The school safety schale (SSS) has 4 sub-dimensions which are personal security , school safety, pupil safety and the works which are performed to make the school more safety. Dates gathered from schales have been analyzed with packet programme ,SPSS 17.0. In the analyze of total scores which are gathered from schales according to various factors. The T-test and one directional ANOVA test for independent groups and if there is a significant diversity to determine the difference between groups ; Tukey HSD analyze were applied. According to survey result it has been detected that the opinions of primary and secondary school principals and teachers who Works in Uşak are mostly agree on all aspects on schale. According to the varying of branch; class teaches have been more positive opinion than the branch teachers about thye school safety.There is a significant difference about school safety , pupil safety and the works which are performed to make the school more safety according to teachers who has been working for 1 year and 2-5 years. The general opinions of principals and teachers about school safety, pupil safety and the Works which are performed to make the school more become different in principals' favours significantly.It is detected that these don't effect of thought about personal safety.
