Comparison of occupational anxiety and problem solving abilities between junior and senior level psychology students

This study was made compare the occupational anxiety levels and problem solving abilitiesof freshmen and senior year students' who study the psychology in universities. This study was also made to determine the relation between occupational anxiety and problem solving abilities.. In order to measure the occupational anxiety levels among psychology students, the scale was developed Inventory of Problem Solving was used to measure the problem solving abilities. After the obtained data was statically analyzed there was no relation found between occupational anxiety and problem solving abilities.. It was seen that the occupational anxiety levels among junior psychology students was much higher than the senior students. Between the participants, those who were in a middle class economical level had higher occupational anxiety than those who were in high-class economical level. There was no significant diffrence of occupational anxiety between male and female participantsi statistically. There was also o significant difference found statistically between problem solving abilities and gender, economic levels or being freshman or senior year in university.
