A sociological analysis of the phenomenon of religion in Refik Halid Karay's works

The purpose of this study is to present a sociological analysis of the subject in which the nature and function of the phenomenon of religion are addressed in the works of Refik Halid Karay. In the first chapter a view of the life of Refik Halid was drawn and information about the years in which the angle of view of religion was shaped was given. In addition to the phenomena of underlying the reflections of Refik Halid's works have been tried to be revealed. In the second chapter the themes in Refik Halid Karay's works are compared with their similar and different dimensions the social codes changing with modernity are analyzed wiht their character traits. In the third chapter which is the last chapter it is examined how Refik Halid Karay's deals with the works phenomenon of religion. For this purpose firstly the meaning that Refik Halid puts on human is emphasized then the values of faith, thought and moral which are different in the process of adaptation of man to the changing world are examined and finally the reflex of Refik Halid's approach to death thought which is the inevitable experience of man.
