Abstract (EN)

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is the most common neurodegenerative disease, it's characterized by progressive cognition decline until the individual is unable to perform his daily needs, and for that, it's considered a public health issue. Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles having an essential role in cellular communication in tissue's physiological and pathological state, particularly the central nervous system (CNS). Many studies showed the potential of exosomal miRNAs as a reliable biomarker reflecting pathological changes in the human body. We considered a systematic study to detect the most prominent, experimentally validated circulating miRNAs that target genes related to AD in our study, we observed the expression of hsa-miR-375, hsa-miR-107, hsa-miR-193b and hsa-miR-29c in three different groups: control, MCI, and AD. Our RT-qPCR result suggests that hsa-miR-375, hsa-miR-107, and hsa-miR-29c has the potential to be considered AD biomarker.
