Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to practically examine the effects of social media on religious socialization of adolescents. Socialization agents such as family, peer groups, educational institutions and mass media affect individuals' religious socialization in the period of adolescence that is an important part of the life process. In recent years, social media, that is one of the mass media, is one of the important results of internet's Web 2.0 form. The combination of social media and mobile communication have influences on the youngs' religious-social world those are first target group of this technology. Therefore, in this study, it is tried to practically put forward these influences. In particular, in Sakarya / Akyazı; the raw data forms that are obtained from 30 students from five different high schools, are reviewed through interpreter approach and semi-structured interviews of qualitative research techniques and subjected to content analysis.
