Regional development focused vision of universities in TRB1 region with technology and innovation systems

The science, technology and innovation system consists of organizations that contribute positively to the field of scientific research in Turkey. This system makes significant contributions to the state in the emergence of vision-oriented science and technology policies. It is important for academics, the public and the private sector to cooperate in order to maintain vision-oriented policies efficiently. The aim of this thesis, for the first time, is to examine this cooperation, the impact of the studies applied in the field of regional development within the technology and innovation system of the universities in the TRB1 region, locally and regionally. The questionnaire study for this purpose was applied to the academic staff working at universities in the TRB1 region. A questionnaire consisting of 17 questions was applied to the academic staff working in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the universities in the region, and a total of 250 people were reached. As a result of the survey, hypotheses examining the relationship between the variables related to technology, economy, entrepreneurship, university and industry cooperation and the characteristics/opinions of academicians were tested.
