Abstract (EN)

With the foundation of the Republic of Turkey in 1923, it began the one-party management. Republican People's Party was the only party in power applications and the resulting response in some years; the Republican People's Party cadres in the Democratic Party paved the power generated. The establishment of the Democratic Party came to power in 1946, and subsequently, the Turkish Democracy constitutes a critical point in history. However, an opposition party for the first time in the history of Turkish democracy, any authority or power could manage to come to power without the people's will to the rear. The opposition Democratic Party of the 1950s, relations between dialogue and understanding today's contemporary politics has been fundamental in determining the government-opposition relations in Turkey. In this thesis, single stage and multiple terms as done by the party's participation in the 1946 elections, which are important and summarized developments during the 1946-1957 and 1957-1960; 1957 elections, general political situation before the elections, respectively, in the whole campaign process and the election results with the propaganda work is done in the period examined and discussed developments occurred. It was utilized in the preparation of the sources for the thesis. These different comments on the facts of resources, it tried to objectively reflected in the thesis. Care was taken to be more first-hand the sources used. He examined the newspapers and magazines of the period, as well as the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of National Library and Archive documents period Negotiation Memorandum, Bozok University Library has been scanned, the Democratic Party Statutes and viewed the program. The selection process of the motion path on the basis prepared in this study, Turkey's multiparty living now and tries to democracy learning in this period, the first systematic opposition efforts to build the Democratic Party in 1950 began with the establishment in 1946, 1954 and 1957 elections to the ongoing and the 1960 military coup by extending the process was handled.
