Abstract (EN)

The concept of migration is an important subject, whose subject is human, which has economic, social, cultural and political effects on the fate of countries. The protests and demonstrations started in Tunisia in 2010 by the people who opposed the oppressive, authoritarian and anti-democratic governments spread to Syria in 2011, the Assad regime used extreme violence to suppress the events and the civil war started, causing mass migration movements from Syria to the border countries, Millions of refugees have come to our country until today. In this process, our country followed an open-door policy towards Syrians and opened its doors due to historical, cultural and familial ties. The most important factor is human attitude. With the arrival of asylum seekers in our country in 2011, the importance of non-governmental organizations started to increase gradually. These organizations are organizations that do not have any profit motive, do not charge a fee for the service rendered, meet their expenses with donations of volunteers, can be flexible in making decisions taking into account the benefit of the public, and carry out their activities within the framework of the laws set by the state. In this study; It has been tried to explain the policies of non-governmental organizations towards asylum seekers, their activities, the problems they encounter, solution proposals and their relations with public institutions and organizations in the city of Konya.
