An examination on the forms of "Twitter" uses of political party leaders i̇n Turkey: samples of AKP-CHP-MHP-HDP

This study includes an examination on the forms of "Twitter" uses of political party leaders in Turkey and an evaluation on the qualitative and quantitative investigations used within the study samples of, AKP, CHP, MHP and HDP. In the study, twitter posts on social media platforms used by the political party and their leaders during elections of 7th of June and 1st of November 2015 are investigated. For this purpose, qualitative and quantitative content analyses were carried out to investigate the official accounts on Twitter. In the third section of the study, purpose, significance, method, population and sample of the study were investigated and attempted to be explained. In the fourth section, general elections of 7th of June and 1st of November 2015 were taken into account and Twitter posts of AKP, CHP, MHP and HDP during the election period were investigated.
