A research on the applicability of modern stock management models in manufacturing enterprises

Inventory management has caused businesses to achieve great profitability or loss in recent years. For this reason, businesses make an effort to manage their own stocks. Most of the enterprises have very little knowledge about inventory management. Inventory control and management models, which have emerged with new generation technology in recent years, provide the opportunity for businesses to keep their stocks under control very easily and not to cause major losses. As a result of the survey conducted to examine the level of application and knowledge of modern stock management models of enterprises, this thesis showed that they know about one or two modern stock management models. It has been understood that the officials of the enterprises do not have much information other than the models used in their companies. As a result, it has been understood that although businesses are aware of how important stocks are for businesses, but they do not have much information about modern stock management models and they prefer only one or two models.
