Abstract (EN)

In this study, some phenotypic characteristics, genotypic polymorphisms from mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) and growth hormone (GH-I) gene expression levels of rainbow trout hatcheries in Van province were determined. The rainbow trout broodstocks (Oncorhynchus mykiss) used in the present study were obtained from officially operating six rainbow trout hatcheries in Van province. Considering the genotypic characteristics of rainbow trout hatcheries, it was found that broodstocks in rainbow trout hatcheries formed 7 different rainbow trout lines. In addition, the genotypic status of hatcheries were found as "very good", "good" and "moderate".In this study, FIS values of hatcheries were found between (-0.34) ̶ (0.21) and whereas FIT values were found between (-0.05) ̶ (0.38). Furthermore, the FST value found to be 0.21. According to the growth hormone relative gene expression levels in rainbow trout hatcheries, the highest level of growth hormone (GH-I) relative gene expression was found in the broodstocks of OCK and SFA hatcheries, respectively. As a result, the genotypic and phenotypic data obtained from the broodstocks of rainbow trout hatcheries in Van province were evaluated separately and together, and comparable and evaluable management parameters were obtained for a healthy hatchery and broodstock management in the present study.
