The problem of nationalization of religious identity in Albanians after the 1990s

This study was studied as a Master's Thesis in Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University, Department of Sociology, with the title The Problem of Nationalization of Religious Identity in Albanians After the 1990s. The problem of identity debate and conflict over religious and national identities in Albanians has been investigated with a scientific and sociological method. In other words, after the 1990s, Albanians' fondness and pretension to Western culture, approaching their own cultural, religious, and national identities according to the West, developing perspectives, and not resorting to other sources other than scientific sources from the West, and even the problem of religious and national identity caused by objectionable-suspicious approaches that do not fit with Western culture. was the target of this research. In this study, within the scope of the theoretical and literature review method, facts, information, articles, books, reports, events, and written theses related to the subject of identity in general and the identities of Albanians were compiled with an objective point of view, different opinions and comments on the subject were brought together and the study was carried out through comparisons and differences. Appropriate citations and syntheses are included. The study consists of six chapters. Introduction to the first part, there are sub-titles of introduction, subject, scope, problem, and aim of the research. In the second part, the conceptual framework and the concepts of identity, religion, nation-nation, and national are explained. In the third part, the course of history and nationalization process of the Albanians and in the fourth part, the Nationalization of Religious Identity in Albanians after the 1990s are covered.
