Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to examine the impact of the transformation of villages into neighbourhoods on the lives of villagers in the context of the 6360 law in the province of Aydın. The study involved a literature review of the subject to examine the legal and administrative aspects of the law, followed by a survey of villagers in the selected forest villages in Aydın province. The survey method was used to evaluate the participants' demographic profile, their level of knowledge about the law, and the changes in the social and economic situation of the villages. The results show that the law has had a positive impact on access to services and infrastructure, but has had a moderate negative impact on official procedures and the loss of legal personality. The study shows that, although the social and economic life of the villages has generally improved, there are still some limitations in the administrative and economic areas. Overall, the study reveals that the 6360 law has had significant economic, social and administrative effects on the forest villages in the Aydın province, but that the villagers have experienced difficulties in terms of information and adaptation during this process. The study contributes to our understanding of the social and economic effects of legal applications in rural areas.
