The characters in the novels of Adalet Ağaoğlu

Adalet Ağaoğlu, with her works written in different text types is one of our important peculiar writers in Turkish literature. Her works have been the subject of many studies in the context of literary criticism and research. This study, which we examine the novels of the author in terms of the characters, consists of three parts. The first chapter contains general information about Adalet Ağaoğlu's life and authorship. In the second chapter, determinations and evaluations were made for the characters by handling nine novels that are subject of our research, in two main topics. Classification in the section of the Characters in Nurullah Çetin's book "Novel Analysis Method" was adhered by evaluating. In this section, the characters of the novels were evaluated with four sub-headings as central character, type, character and supporting characters. The sub-heading of the fictional person is also included in case of need. The third section consists of a general evaluation of the characters of the novels that we analyzed. In this section, the main characteristic cases that are prominent in novels are expressed in sub-headings. In the conclusion section, the findings related to the characters in Adalet Ağaoğlu's novels are listed.
