The purpose of this thesis is to study and analyze the commandments of Luqman al-Hakim to his son as mentioned in the Holy Qur'an as a model for the Holy Qur'an's approach to family education. The importance of this study comes from the importance of the Holy Qur'an's call to human education, preparation and rehabilitation, and from the status of Luqman's commandments in the conscience of the Islamic nation. God gave him great wisdom, careful consideration, and a high sense of everything that is morally valuable. Since the wills of his son are a high model of education that the world seeks today to theorize and solve its problems, the study followed the descriptive approach in its historical part when translating the Prophet Luqman, and reviewing what the books have found about him, likewise, the descriptive approach, with its inductive and analytical part, is the shortest and most useful method for addressing the problem of the study and achieving its objectives, which is represented by the analysis of the testaments to extract its educational principles. The study concluded the following: The Holy Qur'an is a way of life that should be referred to when setting educational policies, plans and programs to meet contemporary educational challenges, and because it is valid for all times and places. Luqman's commandments are considered among the most brief and informative of what was said in family education and morals. Therefore, they are a unique educational model and the basis of Islamic education, as they contain many values and principles that form a strong general philosophy for all programs that can be built upon to establish morals in modern societies. And that these commandments centered on basic values that are being lost today, and attacked in a blatant way, such as: the value of monotheism, honoring parents, prayer, enjoining good and forbidding evil, acclamation and public morals, each of which is a pillar that if it collapses, society will fall, he also notes the distinguished educational method that Luqman presented to every father, advisor, or caller to God, which is based on humility, gentleness, and teaching with love and kindness. This can be sought from the divine discourse that conveyed the words of Luqman in the most eloquent language, and the most delicate of what is kindness and dialogue.
