Abstract (EN)

Introduction: While trying to balance the responsibilities given to them by the society, women in the working life between the ages of 25-45 could not escape from coping with stress by going under heavy burdens many times. The fact that women are constantly in the second place in working life has caused them to encounter many problems. Purpose: The aim of this thesis is to measure the psychological resilience and prosocial behaviors of working women between the ages of 25-45 in order to determine what kind of results will result, to investigate what kind of connection there is with their stress levels and to provide information and assistance to the research by considering the link between them. Method: In this study, it was aimed to work with 300 volunteer women working in Istanbul Bakırköy district in order to reach the sample group between the ages of 25-45. "Socio-Demographic Form, Work Stress Scale, Psychological Resilience Scale, and Prosocial Behavior Scale" were administered to people who accepted to participate in the study. These scales were answered by the volunteer participants and statistical data analysis was continued with the SPSS (Statistical Package For The Social Sciences) program. Results: According to the findings of the study, a negative, medium-low level and really significant relationship was found between Work Stress and Psychological Resilience Scales. In this case, we can say that work stress decreases while psychological endurance increases, and if endurance decreases, work stress increases. In this case, "Does the stress in scientific work life decrease if psychologically increased?" We can answer the question as "yes". If the psychological endurance of women is increased, work stress decreases. When the relationship between work stress and prosocial behavior scores is examined, there is a negative and significant relationship in sentence sentence. Psychological Resilience and Prosocial Behaviors Patient affection has a positive medium-high degree and a very meaningful and significant relationship. In this case, the prosocial behavior score will also increase psychological resilience. Even if indirectly, prosociality should be increased first, as prosociality increases, psychological endurance will increase and future work stress will decrease. Conclusion: As a result of this study, the importance of prosocial behavior in working women for psychological endurance and stress situations has been revealed. This situation has revealed the importance of prosocial behavior-based practices in women experiencing psychological resilience and stress.
