Since the Republic of academic biography of the historian of religions

History of Religions has a considerable place in Theology and it's necessarily for Theology. The subject of our study is the bibliography of the Academician Religions Historians from the Republic to the present day. The subject is delimitated with Historians of Religions whose carrier of assistant professor but it wasn't mentioned about Historians of Religions who las lower academic carrier. The purpose of this study is to review of the studies done in the area of the history of religions to introduce the major acamedicians and studies and present a project and an idea about the science of the history of religions and to the researchers who will study on, where they will strat to this. We met with Prof.Dr. Mehmet Aydın and Prof. Dr. Abdurrahman Küçük who are the history of religion s living in Turkey which is the oldest and most distinquised professors and their ideas and suggestions were taken about thesis while preparing it. We contacted with our precious professors both an e-mails and face to face. The written materials were collected and sent to our professors by e mails who we have no chance to interview. History of Religions were read at some madrasahs and upper schools from 1875 to 1955. Some articles and books have been published about History of Religions.as an academic discipline, History of Religions was taken place in the curriculum of Faculty of Theology at Ankara University was opened in 1949. Some academic study were started in Turkey after Prof Hikmet Tanyu (1918-1992) who is death now, became an assistant at History of Religions.Prof.Dr. Hikmet Tanyu, studying as a professor at Faculty of Theology at Ankara, has educated so many important historians.This Historians have started to write thesis in all part of the History of Religions. With this study it has been commonly introduced the academician and the history of religions study done in this area. It hasn't become generally accepted the history of religions science in our country yet. It has been concluded that a large number of research investigation has been expected the new researchers.
