Among family systems whose structure is impaired, function is reduced or inadequate, both parents and adolescents are affected in different directions from this disordered structure. It is not even cosiderable to talk about the continuity of family integrity in the presence of disordered structure which ultimately impairs mental health. Within this perspective, the aim of this study was to explore parents' attachement styles and associations with interpersonal problem solving and anxiety levels of adolescents. The forms were collected and then coded on a computer using SPSS 24 statistical package program for further statistical analysis and the results were evaluated at 95% confidence interval and p <0.05 significance level. The result indicates that there is a relationship between the parental involvement styles, father's chronic illness, mother's education level and adolescent's problem solving skills in interpersonal relationships, and anxiety level.
