Abstract (EN)

Preoperative imaging is increasingly important for the prevalence and metastasis of endometrium cancer which is the most common gynecological cancer in developed countries. Besides, patients who won't be able to lift the operation or who want to preserve fertility, the scanning is the best option for clinical staging. In this context, the best imaging method is still be invastigated and developed issue. In this study, the preoperative imaging and postoperative patologies of the patients who has endometrium cancer is compared retrospektively. 123 patients with endometrium cancer between January 1, 2019 – August 4,2022 at Mersin University Faculty of Medicine Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrics Gynecolojical-Oncologie policlinic included in this study. The sensitivity of imaging when we compare of the patients who has preoperative 10 MRI, 67 CT, 46 PET/CT imaging and the final pathology, is less then literature. For lenf node metastasis and distant metastasis, PET/CT is more spesific, sensitive; high positive and negative predictive value when we compare with MRI and CT. Moreover, in this study, the prediction of metastasis in pelvic lenf node has %60 sensitivity and %70,8 spesifity when biggest lenf node is 15,5 mm or bigger which is detected with preoperative imaging methods. PET/CT imaging is important for demonstrate the lenf node invasion, clinical staging and determination of the form and the extention of surgery in extrauterine invasion of endometrium cancer. Meanwhile, during clical staging, imaging of the cut off value of the pelvic lenf nodes size leads the way for pelvic lenf node metastasis for clinicians.
