Abstract (EN)

This thesis discusses where the issue of nadhar, which was discussed in relation to the subject of faith (īmān) in the early period and leads the knowledge of God, and later in the process it has gained a methodological aspect is located in Fakhr al Dīn al-Rāzī's system of thought and how it is interpreted. In the first chapter of this study, it is investigated by which school was first included ma'rifatullāh within the scope of obligation of the servant and when nadhar is used to reach this information in a methodological sense. Besidesthat, it has been tried to explain how it was determined that the starting point of nadhar, that leads to the ma'rifatullāh,was assubstance and acccident theory. In addition, along with the historical development of the issue of nadhar that leads to the ma'rifatullāh the breaking points in the period up to Razi were specified and the places where the views of the early thinkers and Fakhr al Dīn al-Rāzī were similar were pointed out. In the second chapter, how al-Rāzī made sense of knowledge and where he placed it in his philosophical system was explained, and also, the adequacy of his nadhar and istidlāl method in the context of ma'rifatullāh, which has a metaphysical structure, is explained. The problems of the nature and what is the evidence used in reaching ma'rifatullāh have been discussed in the context of the system established by al-Rāzī. In addition, al-Rāzī's views on mushāhadah and ta'līm methods, which are alternatives to the method of istidlāl and his perspective in terms of this two methods were explained. Since the subject of nadhar that leads to the ma'rifatullāh is also related to taklīf, it has been tried to explain human acts and how al-Rāzī bases nadhar with obligation in this context.
