Abstract (EN)

The proliferation of mass media such as television, internet, telephone and social media is the basis for the change of all common values ​​that determine the main framework of the social order. Mass media has even changed the lifestyles of societies and consequently led to the emergence of new causes of unknown origin. In the context of the traditional conversation meetings that are the subject of our work in this list, Şanlıurfa queue nights are an important example of the change in the entertainment culture of the sample community life in this context. Chat meetings, in different regions of Turkey "Yâren, Ateş Gezmesi, Barana, Kürsübaşı, Cümbüş Âlemleri, Ferfene, Muhabbet Gecesi, Gezek, Helva Sohbetleri, Helebiş, Oturak Âlemleri, Sıra Âlemleri, Sıra Eğlencesi, Sıra Gecesi" As defined by different names, while in regions outside Turkey "Geşdek, Coro Bozo, Konuşma, Meşrep, Muhabbet" It is known and performed under similar names. In this study, the forms of performance of traditional chat meetings according to the regions are discussed and especially the location of these musical forms in the cultural structure of Şanlıurfa queue nights, the representatives of the chat meetings, the places where the entertainment is performed and the place of this musical entertainment style are examined in detail. Although Urfa queue night practices, which are shaped by the effects of popular culture today, actually have a folkloric background, it does not seem to reflect the common labor and production of the members of the society from which it originates. The study is a qualitative research, and it is a type of research that tries to describe the practices of traditional night music, which is one of the most important live culture elements of Şanlıurfa, and traditional music, in a realistic and holistic way, and also the meaning of the queue night in the social and cultural sense of people's lives. The study consists of three parts. In the first part; After explaining the purpose and importance of the study, explanatory information about the Ahilik culture in Anatolia and the traditional conversation meetings that still exist in the social life of the Turkish society are given, and a general assessment is made about the socio-cultural status and music culture of Şanlıurfa and local masters are representatives of this culture. Information about is given. In the second part; Summaries of the sources used in the thesis study are included and these sources are evaluated under three titles as books, articles and thesis. In the third part; While examining the Şanlıurfa culture and the Queue Night tradition and the culture of music within this tradition and the relationship between this culture and traditional conversation meetings, information was given about the general structure rules of the Queue Night tradition and the places where it took place, the persons involved and their duties. , information about the music performed at such nights and the tradition of traditional makam and the treats made at night and their presentation types were given, and the information about the new practices that occurred socially and culturally in the context of traditional chat meetings were addressed in the process of Queue Nights.
