Sheikh Al-Desouqi's appurtenance on the explanation of Imam Al-Jalal Al-Mahali on the honorable Burdah is one of the most important works in this field, because it simplified the explanation of Al-Mahali, which is a brief explanation of the Burdah. Furthermore, the manuscript was characterized by clarity and smoothness in clarifying the meanings intended by the commentator. It also dealt with a group of literary, linguistic, grammatical and rhetorical aspects in a simple and clear concise manner, in addition to shedding light on some essential doctrinal issues in the text without going into their details, or delving into them, or listing the opinions of the theologies, but the researcher preferred providing a summary or delivering his opinion. In his explanation, the author also resorted to language and syntax to start clarifying the text and highlighting the purposes of the poetries. The researcher's devotion in clarifying the meanings used in poetry and literature is recognizable. Al-Desouki's grammatical and rhetorical abilities was outstanding, so he paid attention to the declension (Irab) of many words without concentrating on its grammatical schools and the grammarians' doctrines in them. He limited it to expressing the declension (Irab) of the word and indicate the other aspects with expressing the impact of different declension on the meaning of the word. The researcher also paid much attention to the of letters of meanings (Huruf Al-Maani) and their impact on highlighting the essences of the explanation, and clarifying the intended meanings. Al-Desouki had his critical view by selecting from the explanations of the Burdah and concentrating on one aspect without the other. As for the rhetorical and primitive meanings, he examined and compared them without going into their details. Rather, he contented himself with extracting the rhetorical and original meaning only without explanation. Al-Desouqi's Sufi tendency also emerged through some terms and ideas, and he is a moderate Sufi based on the Quran and the Sunnah, away from the abhorrent Sufism. Al-Desouki's extremely cared of the Qur'an and the honored Sunnah. He also gave many references to the Hadiths of the Prophet (peace be upon him) highlighting his merits, morals and attributes. The manuscript is a precious brief to explain the closed doors of the Al-Mahali on the burdah, as it is a mixture between the explanation of the Burdah and the appurtenance of its explainer al-Hilli.
