Abstract (EN)
Kalima-i tawhid, which means "There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is His Messenger", is the first and most important of the five fundamental principles of the religion of Islam. Although it is a very short statement, it contains all the creeds of faith that a believer should know about Allah and His Messenger. Therefore, many works on the subject have been written by Islamic scholars, and kalima-i tawhid has been discussed from different perspectives. This study, which was carried out in order to present the subject with a holistic approach; It consists of two parts, the first part, in which the words "kalima", "tawhid" and "shahadah" are analyzed in terms of etymology, and the conceptual analyzes of kalima-i tawhid and kalima-i shahadah are made; and the second part, in which the printed works and manuscripts that are determined to be related to the subject are examined.
