The folklore and folk literature of Kilis-Musabeyli (compilation-exploration-classification)

Kilis-Musabeyli region, which has hosted Turkish culture for centuries, has also a rich cultural accumulation in the context of folk culture and folk literature. As it is also a border city, it has also interacted with many cultures and civilizations. Most of the Turkish tribes who settled in the region with the migration processes from Horasan to Anatolia carried and transferred their culture, dances, words and literature to the region of Musabeyli with this migration process. These oral culture products, which continue to exist today, have been studied in the study of "Kilis-Musabeyli Folklore and Folk Literature" in the region of Musabeyli. In the study, which consists of four main chapter, oral culture products and folk literature products were compiled, investigated and classified through Turkish communities such as Avşar Turks, Beydilli Turks, Elbeyli Turks living in Kilis-Musabeyli region. Their similarities and differences with other regions where Turks' presence exist were determined. With the help of compiled and exploratory studies in Musabeyli region, in this study, trace of way of living, believing and cultural values of Turk culture were analyzed.
