The effects of global epidemic diseases on health expenditures: The example of Turkey

The concept of health is one of the most fundamental phenomena of our world. Especially in recent years, the worlds that have taken place in many worlds have forced economies to evaluate health-related concepts and implement policies. The concept of health is primarily examined under two headings as health services and expenditures. With the movement of this context, the study is to protect the protective effects that are effective especially in the 2000-202 period in the world and in Turkey. First of all, the current situation is presented among the related tables. For the following Turkish economy, the period covering the years 2000-2019 (Bird flu, swine flu, mers cov and Covid-19), the importance of public and private health expenditures in the face of current shocks, Dickey Fuller(ADF, 1981) Philips Peron (PP, 1988) Tests. There are unit root test configuration methods. As a result of the analysis, the public health expenditures for the seasons between 2003-2007/2004-2008 have been reached. The financial crisis in 2004 and the Sars epidemic in 2002 caused the crisis, and in 2007, the bird flu continued to exist. As a result of the analysis applied for private sector health expenditures, the previous year was reached between 2003-2005/2006-2008. Bird flu and the banking crisis in 2008 were the breaking point of this institution. The necessary policies regarding this situation can be briefly stated as follows; The private-public ranges should do their part for the health expenditures of the countries, which increase the health expenditures temporarily, and air-conditioning policies are applied for the wings transmitted by air.
